A Voice for the Voluntary Sector in Derbyshire

Published: Mon, 24 Nov 2008 11:00:37

A Voice for the Voluntary Sector in Derbyshire’ is a project of the Derby and Derbyshire Voluntary and Community Sector Infrastructure Consortium – 3D Please find below a specification for the work of evaluating the Voice for the VCS in Derbyshire Project.

The project is hosted by Derbyshire Rural Community Council, but reports to the 3D (Derbyshire’s Voluntary Sector Infrastructure Consortium and the Big Lottery). The project will run for 3 years and is looking to evaluate annually, so as to measure its impact on an ongoing basis in order to adapt delivery methods to the needs of its beneficiaries.

It is equally important that the project is able to provide robust evidence of it’s value to all it’s stakeholders in order to secure ongoing resources should they be needed. The project is therefore seeking to appoint an external evaluator to assess the project’s processes, managment, impact and progress towards milestones. In addition the projects seeks to establish key learning points to inform it’s development and that of other similar projects within the region.

More information can be found on www.3Dsupport.org.uk/Voice_Project or by contacting Claire Thornber, Project Officer, or Diane Scott, Project Administrator. The closing date for applications is 15th December 2008.
